It’s hard to believe that November is almost over. The cold weather has snuck up on us too quickly. I wish I were joining the ducks and geese in the migration south for the winter.
I have to say that the Fall Conference on DOE was a huge success. We had over 40 people in attendance, a mix of both members and nonmembers. The subject matter was intriguing and well presented. Thank you to Woody and Bob for the entertaining and informative session on DOE. I personally enjoyed it tremendously and learned a lot.
For the December meeting, we’re heading south to Grafton. Our host will be Rexnord Industries Flattop Division, which happens to be where I work. Rexnord produces conveyor chain and conveyor components for many industries, primarily the beverage industry. Rexnord Flattop is part of the Process and Motion Controls side of the Rexnord Corporation. It will be an interesting tour starting at 3:30 pm with dinner meeting to follow at the Flipside Café in Grafton. Registration is now open on the section website. Sign up so you can learn all about Rexnord and what we do.
Do you find that you are not interested in any of the program meetings our section is offering? Would you like to provide some input on what kind of meetings you would be interested in attending? Come to a section board meeting and be an advisor. We are always looking for ideas for program meetings. Board meetings are typically held the 4th Monday of the month and the location rotates between Fond du Lac and Appleton. We’ll even pay for your dinner. Details can be found on the website or contact any board member with questions.
Have a great Thanksgiving holiday with your families!
