I was glad to see the great turnout at the Fall
Conference. Hopefully you walked away with vital information that you will
be able to use to improve your documentation and explain your processes.
The discussions were tremendous. We are already working on finalizing the
Spring Conference and would be open to any additional ideas. Another bonus
we are working on for the Spring would be an open forum for questions and
answers FREE to our members. Yes, I said FREE!
The holiday season is quickly approaching as well as
mid-year. This indicates that we will be holding our annual business
meeting. For the meeting, we need your help. The 2003-2004 Vice-Chair
position is open and needs to be filled. Other positions that will need to
be filled are our Newsletter Editor. There are plenty of opportunities to
step-up and reap the benefits of being on the board. Besides achieving
re-certification credits, you have the wonderful opportunity to build
strong networking ties, influence section operations, and build your
skills as a professional. All this is for FREE!
Look forward to seeing all of you at the December
Dinner Meeting. Woody Santy will be providing a wonderful tool for us to
use that will change the pace slightly. You have been asking for
networking opportunities. Well, you asked and we are providing.
Bring your business cards and your thinking caps!
See you soon,
Michelle Kilgas
Winnebago Section Chair
