Analyzing Risk through Fault Tree Analysis
Best Western Premier, 1000 Cameron Way, Neenah
In ISO-9001:2015, there are numerous references to “risk and opportunity” identification, prioritization and management. But how aware are you of the various tools that address risk?
Join us in December for an informative interactive program on Fault Tree Analysis (FTA), a risk analysis technique complementary to Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA) and other risk analysis tools. FTA offers some unique features that most other tools do not offer.
FTA goes beyond just failures and considers combinations of events, non-failures, and human error, a topic directly cited in ISO-9001:2015. This tool has been widely used in aerospace, medical equipment, software, and is seeing recent increased use in the automotive industry and in numerous manufacturing processes to help reduce the potential for shutdown of critical processes.
Including a Mini Session on ASQ Certifications
This short 30-minute program will provide an overview of the various ASQ Certifications (including several newer ones), how preparing for Certification Testing helps build skillsets for your job and strengthens résumé credentials, info on the new testing process, and "easy" steps to maintain your certifications.
